Garrett has extensive experience in working with and participating in Land Rover events, clubs, and related organizations throughout the Mid-Atlantic States and New England. He has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada and parts of Europe. He practiced as a sustainable land planner and designer for several years after graduating from Penn State University in the College of Arts and Architecture. Garrett has extensive experience and knowledge in the mechanics and challenges of environmentally sensitive off-road driving, utilizing GPS, and collaborative problem solving requiring creative thinking and decision-making. Garrett’s passion for travel and adventure has led him to create Team Rover Adventures. Garrett is also an off-road driving instructor for Back Country Driving School (BCDS) located in Roanoke, Virginia. BCDS trains United States military groups in recovery, vehicle preservation, field expedience and land navigation for foreign deployment. Garrett has over 1200 hours of general training, 265 hours of M1114 HMVVE training and 250 hours of civilian H1 (Hummer) training experience. . J.B.’s experience with Land Rovers has led him to participate in numerous club events and outings. From the original Series Rovers to the modern Range Rover, his knowledge and familiarity with these vehicles makes him an asset to Team Rover’s unique programs. His love for the outdoors led J.B. to become a fly fishing guide where he spends a considerable amount of time on the water and as an advocate for organizations such as Trout Unlimited and Federation of Fly Fisherman. With a graduate degree in marketing and communications, J.B. spent years in the advertising industry as an art director for fortune 500 clients. His creative, team-based, problem solving skills make for a more unique and “tailored” program.
Steve has been involved with Land Rovers for over thirty years. His experience spans driving and repair of most of Land Rovers models originating from the early Series Land Rovers through to current models. Trained as an Engineer, Steve’s early career spanned numerous aspects of the automobile industry, including TRW (Steering/Suspension), Aston Martin (Product Development), Vernon Instruments (Quality Assurance) and Techne (Environmental Testing). Steve keeps his “finger on the pulse” by being North American Editor of Land Rover Owner (LRO) the world’s premium Land Rover magazine for enthusiasts. |
